Thoracic Imaging: Enhanced Skills Workshop

Join us for an interactive workshop at ARRS 2027, where you can earn up to 14 CME credits while addressing thoracic diagnostic challenges with DICOM-guided case review.

Please note: This workshop requires an extra fee on top of your general registration. You can find all the details on our registration page.

What You Will Experience

Interactive Learning

You will be able to manipulate images, scroll through slices, and adjust window and leveling with our DICOM viewer on your laptop.

Real-Time Feedback

Test your baseline by submitting answers to live cases. Get feedback on the diagnostic process to improve accuracy.

Comprehensive Coverage

Across four days, speakers will cover seven core sections (70 unknown cases total), spanning from Airspace and Airway Disease to Diffuse Lung Disease.

Expert Takeaways

Discover areas for growth in a supportive environment. Our speakers will equip you with the knowledge to manage complex cases.

Case-Driven Learning

Target Audience & Learning Outcomes

The target audience for this activity is radiologists at all levels interested in refining their thoracic diagnostic skills.

1. Recognize and interpret key imaging patterns associated with lobar and multilobar collapse, airspace disease, airway disease, lung neoplasia, pleural and chest wall disorders, mediastinal disease, and diffuse lung disease.

2. Develop and prioritize differential diagnoses for thoracic imaging findings using a systematic, case-based approach across seven course sections.

3. Apply appropriate DICOM image-review techniques to evaluate thoracic imaging cases independently.

4. Identify key diagnostic imaging caveats and integrate them into accurate diagnoses and clinical decision-making for challenging thoracic cases.
