When and where is the ARRS 2027 Annual Meeting?
The ARRS 2027 Annual Meeting is scheduled to take place from May 2–5, 2027, in Denver, Colorado.
What is the deadline for abstract submissions?
The deadline to submit your abstract for the ARRS 2027 Annual Meeting is August 11, 2026.
How do I submit my abstract?
All abstracts must be submitted online through the abstract submission program to be considered for acceptance. You must use your ARRS login and password on the submission site. If you do not currently have an ARRS membership account, you will need to create an account.
What are the formatting requirements for the abstract text?
The text of each abstract should not exceed 3100 characters, which includes spaces and punctuation.
Your material should be typed in paragraph format only. Do not use itemized bulleted or numbered line items, as abstracts submitted in this format will not be reviewed.
The abstract title and text should not be entered in all capital letters, as these will not be considered.
All acronyms should be spelled out on the first mention with the acronym provided in parenthesis.
What are the abstract category types?
You may choose only one of the following three categories for your abstract submission:
- Oral Presentations: Based upon completed hypothesis-driven research or a work-in-progress report, requiring the Presenting Author to register and present in person.
- Scientific Online Poster Exhibits: A summary of work done based upon completed hypothesis-driven research or a work-in-progress report, which will be viewed online only.
- Educational Online Poster Exhibits: Meant to teach or review radiologic signs, procedures, techniques, treatment options, and interventions. These are viewed online only.
How many authors can be listed on an abstract?
There is a maximum of 8 authors per abstract. The Submitting Author should include their name as one of the 8 authors if they want to be included in the author listing.
Do all authors need to submit disclosure forms?
Yes. All authors, which includes the Submitting Author and all listed co-authors, must submit an online disclosure form before the submission deadline. The Submitting Author is responsible for ensuring their co-authors have completed this online disclosure form.
Can I make changes to my abstract after it is submitted?
The Submitting Author can enter the abstract, save it, and return for edits or updates at any time prior to the submission deadline. However, changes to the abstract title, abstract text, or author names will not be permitted after the submission site closes.
Are there restrictions on using commercial content or trade names?
Your abstract must be balanced and contain no commercial promotional content. Trade names should not be used in the title or text of abstracts. When necessary to identify a device or drug, provide the name of the device or drug with the manufacturer in brackets.
What is the Roentgen Ray Review (R3)?
The Roentgen Ray Review (R3) is the American Roentgen Ray Society’s newest peer-reviewed radiology journal. Launched in early 2025, R3 was created to supply busy clinical imagers with timely, relevant, and accessible content across all radiology subspecialties.
