Essentials in Women\u2019s Imaging Categorical Course<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Designed for radiologists with an interest in breast and pelvic imaging, this course will deliver an in-depth review of today\u2019s most relevant challenges and advances in women\u2019s imaging. From risk-based breast cancer screening and BI-RADS interpretation to the use of O-RADS\u2122 guidelines and staging of gynecologic cancers, participants will gain expert perspectives and evidence-based strategies they can immediately apply in clinical settings.<\/p>

Learning Outcomes<\/h3>

As a result of attending this course, the learner will be able to:<\/p>

  • Evaluate the implications of risk-based breast cancer by analyzing advancement in screening guidelines, diagnostic imaging techniques, and the role of supplemental imaging tools.<\/li>
  • Apply evidence-based approaches in breast imaging to specific populations, including patients with implants, transgender individuals, and men, by interpreting imaging findings and utilizing BI-RADS for accurate assessment and diagnosis.<\/li>
  • Develop expertise on work-up of screen-detected abnormalities, symptomatic patients and patients with known cancer.<\/li>
  • Highlight the importance of rad-path correlation as a key component in breast imaging.<\/li>
  • Analyze key diagnostic findings to accurately stage gynecologic malignancies, including endometrial cancer and uterine sarcomas and evaluate treatment response by identifying typical patterns of recurrence.<\/li>
  • Interpret complex gynecologic and women\u2019s health imaging cases using multidisciplinary insights from tumor boards, incorporating emerging screening practices for osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease, and lung cancer.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
